How can I get a list of ingredients in your food?
If you are wondering about ingredients due to an allergy or food preference (i.e. you are a vegan), please check out our Nutrition Calculator page for PDFs that include nutritional info, vegetarian/vegan designations, and an allergen listing. For any other questions, please feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to get you the answer.
Is your bread vegan?
Our Regular bread is vegan. Our Multigrain bread has honey in it, so it is not vegan.
What do the calories on your menu board include for each sandwich?
The calories on our menu boards include whatever is listed in the description of the sandwich, such as bread, meat(s) & cheese. Toppings are not included, but you can use our Nutrition Calculator to get calories for your particular sandwich order. Please note: our Regular and Multigrain breads have the same calorie count.
How can I find out the calories or nutrition on an individual part of my sandwich or salad?
You can use the Nutrition Calculator to build your sandwich or salad, then underneath the Nutrition Facts section, click on "Add to My Meal," then "Show Full Meal." You will then see a pop-up window with the breakdown of everything you have added to your meal.
Are you doing anything to reduce the sodium levels in your food?
We are always working with our venders to ensure that our food remains tasty and wholesome, and sodium plays a part in each. We understand you may have a desire for lower sodium options and we are constantly looking for ways to give our customers exactly what they want. This is an area that we are exploring with our vendors – so please stay tuned.
Grilled Chicken Mediterranean and Mediterranean Sandwich
What's on the Grilled Chicken Mediterranean?
This sandwich comes with Grilled Chicken, Zippy Hummus, Roasted Red Peppers, Feta Cheese, Artichoke Hearts, and Cucumbers.
Why is the Grilled Chicken Mediterranean $1.00 more than the Mediterranean?
The additional cost is for the Grilled Chicken, which comes along with the other great Mediterranean Sandwich ingredients: Zippy Hummus, Roasted Red Peppers, Feta Cheese, Artichoke Hearts, and Cucumbers.
Can you make the Grilled Chicken Mediterranean into a salad?
You sure can! Just tell us which ingredients you want on your salad and we can customize one for you.
Is the Mediterranean sandwich a permanent sandwich on the menu?
Yes, this sandwich is available in most Potbelly shops permanently! We are always listening to our customers, and we heard overwhelming feedback that there was desire for more delicious, crave-worthy ingredients in our vegetarian sandwich.
I'm a Vegan. Can I still order the Mediterranean?
No problem! All you have to do is ask for a Mediterranean on regular bread (our multigrain bread has honey in it so it is not vegan friendly) with no feta cheese, and the sandwich is vegan!
What happened to the Vegetarian Sandwich?
The Vegetarian sandwich has moved to our Underground Menu. You can still order it at any time, but we'd love for you to try the new sandwich and let us know what you think!
Why does the Mediterranean cost more?
The Mediterranean is made with premium ingredients — zippy hummus, feta cheese, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers and cucumbers, all of which cost a little more than our traditional toppings.
What makes your hummus "zippy?"
Our hummus is made with some of the oil from our hot peppers to add a little spice. If you're not sure whether you'll like it, just ask for your hummus on the side. If you're a fan of our peppers, you'll love our hummus.
Can I get artichoke hearts or roasted red peppers added to a different sandwich?
Yes! There will be a $0.50 extra charge for each of the premium ingredients but we'd be happy to provide you with a made-to-order sandwich.
Can I get Hummus on any sandwich or as a side to my meal, and if so, how much would it cost?
Of course you can. We love our hummus, and we're glad you do too! Adding hummus to your sandwich or on the side is $1.00. Ask for it when you get the toppings on your sandwich, or ask your friendly cashier to get a side for you.
I've been adding Chicken to my Mediterranean since the sandwich first came out. Is this sandwich different?
It's the same sandwich, we just wanted to make sure all our customers knew they could our delicious Mediterranean sandwich with or without grilled chicken. We are glad to hear you like it!
Crave-Worthy Salads
What if I don't want one of the salad toppings, can I leave it off?
Of course! All of our salads are made to order. Just tell our team what topping you don't want and we'll be happy to oblige.
Can I swap Feta Cheese for Blue Cheese in my salad?
You sure can! You can ask for our salad made with any of our cheeses.
I'm a vegetarian. Do any of your salads come without meat?
Our salad menu has lots to offer our vegetarian fans! Our Chickpea Veggie Salad has loads of chickpeas (not only yummy, but full of protein) and is topped with fresh cucumbers, grape tomatoes, diced red onions, crumbled blue cheese and chopped eggs. Or we can make you an Uptown without the chicken for a delicious vegetarian feast filled with fruits, nuts and cheese. And if you want something else, just let us know. We're happy to help you get the salad you crave.
Are your salads made with Romaine Lettuce?
Good question! We use a mix that is 70% romaine and 30% iceberg. And while the lettuce may appear light in color at times, that's just the romaine hearts. It's always 70/30, and it's always delicious.
Can I get croutons on my salad?
Yes you can and we are happy to give them to you at no extra charge — just ask!
Are your salad dressings gluten free?

Are there Anchovies in the Caesar Dressing?

What does "all-natural chicken" mean?
When we say "all-natural," we're talking about how the chicken is prepared. Our chicken has no artificial chemicals, preservatives or ingredients and is minimally processed with no added fillers. In other words, it's chicken the way you would make it. We take pride in serving only the finest quality all-white breast meat, hand-cut every day in each of our stores for maximum flavor and freshness.

Does Potbelly deliver?
We sure do! You can have your Potbelly sandwiches and salads delivered to your office or door from most of our locations. Look up your Neighborhood Shop to see if your favorite Potbelly delivers, check if you're in the "zone," or to confirm hours of delivery. Please note that newly opened shops may not begin delivery right away.
How can I purchase Potbelly hot peppers, mustard, shirts or hats?

We don't have a special app, but your phone can interact with our website, which will certainly allow you to place orders online! If you set up a favorite order you can even take advantage of our new one-click ordering so your sandwich will be ready when you get to our shop!
