The new BIGS sandwiches are 30% larger than Potbelly Originals sandwiches and cost just a buck more at all but a few locations. The BIGS come on larger, oven-toasted bread and have more meat, cheese and toppings than their Original counterparts.

Carl Segal, SVP of Operations in charge of Special Projects at Potbelly says Potbelly has been making great sandwiches since 1977 and the new BIGS sandwiches are the first time in 32 years that weve offered a larger sandwich. Many of our regular customers have been asking us to add a larger, more filling sandwich to our menu, and that is why the BIGS were born.

The introduction of the BIGS comes three months after the January launch of Potbelly Skinnys which have 25% less fat and calories than Potbelly Originals. With BIGS taking their place on the menu alongside Originals and Skinnys, Potbelly now has something tasty for every size of appetite.
